Australian 1999-To Date Standard 1 Cent (1c) Mintages
After the withdrawal of the Australian 1c piece in 1992 the Royal Australian Mint produced NCLT (non circulating legal tender) coins in the 2006 mint sets to celebrate 40 years of decimal currency in Australia. The 2006 coins appeared only in the mint set and featured the current portait at that time, the Ian Rank-Broadley obverse of Queen Elizabeth II.
