Australian 1 Cent Coin Mintages
The Australian one cent features a Feather Tailed Glider on the reverse designed by Stuart Devlin. It has been minted with the Machin and Maklouf portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and there is NCLT issues with the Ian Rank Broadley effigy. The one cent was first issued at the changeover to decimal currency in 1966 and was withdrawn from circulation in 1992. The Australian one cent has been minted at the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra, the Royal Mint Melbourne, the Royal Mint Perth and The Royal Mint Llantrisant Wales in the United Kingdom.
